Dairy Business Association endorses Nic Cravillion in Wisconsin Senate District 1 race

MADISON, Wis. — The Dairy Business Association, Wisconsin’s leading dairy advocacy group, endorses Wisconsin Senate District 1 candidate Nic Cravillion in the upcoming Fall Election.

Cravillion was raised on a family farm in New Franken, Wis. He is an army veteran and former District Director for Sen. André Jacque, giving him firsthand experience working with farmers, local governments and state policy.

“DBA supports candidates who align with DBA’s mission and policy priorities, and Nic strongly corresponds with these,” DBA executive director Chad Zuleger said. “He truly understands agriculture and rural economic issues because of personal experiences, growing up on a farm, and his work in public service.”

Cravillion’s campaign aligns with several of DBA’s priorities. These include strong support for Wisconsin agriculture and dairy, focus on reducing regulatory burdens on businesses and farms, support for rural infrastructure and road investments, emphasis on workforce development and housing and advocating for tax relief and growth in rural communities.

“Agriculture and dairy farming are not only the backbone of Wisconsin but also significant economic drivers in the 1st Senate District," Zuleger said. "This district needs a Senator who understands the importance of agriculture and can provide support to help grow the industry in the region."

The Republican primary is scheduled for Aug. 11, with the general election on Nov. 3.
