Our Story

Dairy Forward for over 25 years

Since our founding, DBA has been at the forefront of advocacy, driving political initiatives that have significantly enhanced infrastructure, fostered innovation and ensured a thriving future for dairy farmers. Through our collaborative efforts with regulatory officials and lawmakers, we have worked tirelessly to create common-sense policies and regulations for the dairy community. These achievements underscore our role as a trusted voice and a powerful advocate for the dairy industry. Over the past 25 years, DBA has cultivated a legacy of leadership and partnership. We have built a robust network of members, sponsors, and partners who share our vision of a productive and leading dairy community. Together, we have championed initiatives that have strengthened Wisconsin’s economy, empowered dairy farmers, and cemented our state’s reputation as a global leader in dairy excellence.

The Dairy Business Association is Wisconsin’s leading dairy advocacy organization bringing together Wisconsin dairy farmers, milk processors and allied business to boost the state’s dairy community.  By connecting farmers and industry partners, DBA’s integrated approach fosters collaboration and innovation for the collective good of America’s Dairyland.

Leading dairy through advocacy and community

We are passionate about dairy farming — from the farm to the table and all the steps in between. We believe dairy farms are the backbone of Wisconsin, and we exist to empower our members to lead dairy forward in the state with strong advocacy and collaboration.

We serve the Wisconsin dairy community — farms, processors, and other businesses — with a collective voice on dairy policies and issues at the local and state level. 

DBA is the only integrated, dairy-focused organization advocating on behalf of the state’s dairy community. We are also a membership-driven organization representing all sizes and styles of dairy farms, along with allied businesses and other dairy-focused organizations. DBA is the only dairy policy focused organization that includes farmers, processors and allied business with strong and long-term relationships with state lawmakers and government officials.
