Dairy Business Association endorses candidates in upcoming November elections
MADISON, Wis. — The Dairy Business Association™, Wisconsin's leading dairy advocacy group, today endorsed multiple candidates who are running for State Senate and State Assembly in the upcoming General Election this November.
DBA chose these candidates based on their legislative excellence and alignment with key priorities, including strengthening rural communities, preserving the integrity of Wisconsin's dairy industry, fostering economic growth and protecting Wisconsin’s water quality.
“Dairy farmers are the backbone of Wisconsin, which is why it is critical to support candidates who advocate for sound policies and regulations in Madison,” Greg Siegenthaler, DBA board president, said.
This bipartisan list of candidates was developed based on the actions and priorities of incumbent candidates, along with responses to DBA’s candidate questionnaire, which was sent to all candidates, including both incumbents and challengers. Endorsement selections were made by DBA’s board of directors, which includes dairy farmers and allied business representatives.
“It’s important to recognize and applaud candidates, regardless of party affiliation, who are actively aware of the significant issues impacting dairy farmers today and who share our same goals,” Siegenthaler said. “We appreciate their efforts and dedication to moving dairy forward and keeping dairy farm families and applied businesses strong.”
