Dairy Business Association endorses Kevin Krentz in Wisconsin's 57th Assembly District race

MADISON, Wis. — The Dairy Business Association, Wisconsin's leading dairy advocacy group, endorses Kevin Krentz in the Republican primary election for Wisconsin's 57th Assembly District.

Krentz is a dairy farmer and current member of the Dairy Business Association Board of Directors, giving him firsthand knowledge of the opportunities and challenges facing Wisconsin dairy farmers. Throughout his career, he has been a respected leader in Wisconsin agriculture, including serving as president of the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation and holding numerous leadership positions focused on strengthening agriculture and rural communities.

Chad Zuleger"DBA supports candidates who understand agriculture and are committed to advancing policies that help Wisconsin dairy farmers and rural communities thrive," DBA Executive Director Chad Zuleger said. "Kevin brings both real-world dairy farming experience and a strong record of agricultural leadership."

Krentz's priorities closely align with DBA's policy priorities, including maintaining a competitive business climate, reducing unnecessary regulations, investing in rural infrastructure, supporting conservation efforts and protecting Wisconsin agriculture. His background as a dairy farmer and advocate positions him to be an effective voice for agriculture in the State Assembly.

The 57th Assembly District is an open seat following the retirement of Rep. Kevin Petersen after nearly two decades in the Legislature.

"Agriculture remains one of Wisconsin's most important industries, and it is critical to have elected officials who understand the realities facing today's farmers," Zuleger said. "Kevin's experience, leadership and commitment to rural Wisconsin make him a strong advocate for the dairy community and all of agriculture."

The Republican primary election is scheduled for Aug. 11.
